The Faculty of Health Sciences responds to the Covid 19 Pandemic since scientific research

Abstract

The year 2020 has been marked by the Pandemic Covid 19, which to date has caused 1671772 deaths and 75508468 cases worldwide. Ecuador has not escaped this problem, exhibiting statistics of 205754 cases and 13942 deaths. The Faculty of Health Sciences of the Technical University of Ambato immediately gave timely response to the needs of society from scientific research, designing 20 new projects, of which 9 in response to this deadly disease, which cover a broad spectrum in the integral approach of this problem, from epidemiology, clinic and the development of new technologies , all of which will have a positive impact on the health of the population in Zone 3, with possibilities of generalization to the rest of the country and in some cases will have an impact for Latin America and the World
